Information and Goal of the Workshop:
Computer software is changing how we teach statistics. Data is changing how we teach computer science. Software and data are becoming more relevant and accessible to researchers and students in social science and the humanities. This two-day workshop brings together statisticians and computer scientists to discuss how we are introducing data science at liberal arts colleges now and how we should integrate it in the future. The workshop is open to anyone interested in the topic.

Directions
The above link shows a map of New College. The Workshop will be held in Chae Auditorium, the hub of the three wings of the Heiser Science Building, 17 on the map. Breakfast and snacks will be served in the atrium of the east wing of Heiser (just built and not shown on the map). Friday lunch will be held in College Hall, 2 on the map. Saturday lunch will be held in Heiser east wing.
Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is adjacent to New College.
Registration
The workshop is open to anyone interested in the topic. There is no fee to attend, but please register with Nikita Bagley, Coordinator, New College Data Science Program.
Hotels
The Hampton Inn, Hyatt Place, Courtyard Marriott, and Hilton Garden Inn are a 15-minute walk from New College.
